Liz McIntyre

Trainer & Improvement Specialist

Liz has two decades of experience within the health and charity sector having worked in frontline and strategic roles. She established the East Midlands’ first Quality Improvement Network and later designed the national model for Innovation Exchange on behalf of the Health Innovation Network (formerly Academic Health Sciences Network). Her work has included improvement initiatives within hospitals, communities and local authorities which have led to increased productivity, workforce efficiencies, reductions in transfers to A&E and increased support for children with Special Educational Needs awaiting a formal diagnosis.

Liz is part of the TEDxNHS team leading on communication and curation and has also worked in a voluntary capacity for health services in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Ivory Coast. She is also a on the Board of Life Skills Education, a charity that empowers children and young people to safe and confident decisions.
