Dr. Dawn Benson

Dawn is a sociologist with a long standing background in safety science. She has worked as an academic at the universities of Northumbria, Aberdeen and Oxford.

Dawn has a PhD in healthcare investigation which she applied to designing investigation training in health and social care. She established the education programme at the HSIB and sits on the secretariat for the APPG in patient safety.
