Lauren Turner is an experienced Executive Assistant and Operations Manager with a strong background in senior-level support, stakeholder management, programme delivery and business operations. Currently working as an Executive Assistant at Trafalgar Education, Lauren provides high-level support, brings structure to complex priorities and builds strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Alongside her role, Lauren runs her own virtual business specialising in Operations Management, supporting clients with the organisation, coordination and improvement of their day-to-day operations. She has a natural ability to see the bigger picture, identify what needs to happen next and turn complex or ambiguous situations into clear, manageable actions.
With a background in Human Factors, Lauren has developed a different perspective on how people, systems and environments interact. Understanding Human Factors has changed the way she looks at the world and approaches both professional and everyday situations. She naturally considers the wider context behind how people behave, how systems influence outcomes and where improvements can be made, an approach that strongly influences the way she works.
Outside of work, Lauren is a keen runner and would much rather be out on the trails than on a treadmill. She has a particular passion for ultra-marathons, enjoying the challenge, resilience and adventure that come with long-distance trail running. She also supports charitable fundraising initiatives and is a strong advocate for mental health and positive wellbeing.
Lauren is Prince2 qualified and has completed the NHS Edward Jenner Leadership Programme. She is also a certified Mental Health First Aider, reflecting her commitment to supporting people and creating positive, inclusive working environments.
