This half-day workshop offers a clear, evidence-based overview of climate science, tailored for healthcare professionals and delivered by people who understand your world. Using the globally recognised Climate Fresk methodology — experienced by more than two million people worldwide — small groups work together with 42 cards to build a collaborative collage, piecing together the drivers and mechanisms of climate change. It's a visual, hands-on process that engages everyone in the learning and creates an immersive, memorable experience — and a shared foundation for a more sustainable future for your practice.
Course objectives
This course will:
Explain the core mechanisms driving climate change, grounded in established scientific consensus.
Describe the interconnected nature of climate causes and impacts, mapped through the 42-card Climate Fresk collage you build together.
Relate these principles to the realities of healthcare practice and your own organisation's context.
Reflect openly on any tension between your commitment to animal care and concern for environmental impact, in a safe, non-judgmental space.
Identify practical, achievable actions to reduce environmental impact — as a team and as a profession.
